The Ford F-150, the best-selling car in the United States, is now also available in Romania. Customers have at their disposal several levels of equipment and engines.
The Ford F-150 is an extremely household name in North America. The American pickup has decades of tradition behind it and is the best-selling vehicle in the United States of America.
At the beginning of this year, the dealer Proleasing Motors announced that the American pickup will be sold in Romania as well, offering a warranty and a service program for these models.
How much does the Ford F-150 cost in Romania?
In our country, prices start from 65,500 euros plus VAT. The most affordable variant is the Ford F-150 XLT, but there will be 4 versions of the truck available in total. The XLT is the most affordable of the four and uses a 5.0-liter V8 engine, the same engine block found in the Mustang. The next version in the range is the Lariat, which uses the same V8 engine with 406 hp and 555 Nm. The Ford F-150 Lariat will cost 72,500 euros plus VAT in Romania.
Next is the version tested by us, namely PowerBoost Limited, the most luxurious of the four, which has a price of 95,500 euros plus VAT. The F-150 Limited is easily identifiable by its chrome accents, 22-inch wheels, and premium interior. On this equipment level we will find the 3.5-liter V6 PowerBoost Hybrid engine of 436 HP and 773 Nm, coupled to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The F-150 Raptor is also available, which is designed for off-road enthusiasts, being equipped with special Fox shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, but also with the most powerful engine. The Raptor uses a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that develops 456 hp and 692 Nm of peak torque.
The F-150 Limited is more of a comfortable cruiser, but also quite economical for its size, thanks to the V6 hybrid engine. It is also a machine that can tow and carry large objects in the trunk.
However, if you’re looking for a real workhorse, the first two trim levels will prove to be best suited for hauling, site work or farm work.
