Wall Street opened to a gentle rise – Adobe’s guidance was disappointing

Wall Street’s stock markets opened with a cautious rise on Friday.

The S&P 500 general index, which broadly describes the US stock market, was up 0.3 percent after about ten minutes of trading. At the same time, the technology-focused Nasdaq had risen by 0.4 and the Dow Jones index by 0.3 percent.

Among individual stocks on Wall Street, a software company attracted attention when the stock exchanges opened Adobewhose guidance fell short of analysts’ expectations.

Adobe shares were down 9.8 percent at $528.86.

In the United States, the latest figures for the Michigan confidence index will be published later today. The consensus forecast of economists compiled by Bloomberg is that the index’s score has risen to 68.5 points in September from 67.9 points the previous month.
