“At best we controlled about 1,376 square kilometers, now this area is smaller. The enemy is intensifying counterattacks. We now control about 800 square kilometers. We will hold this territory until it is expedient from a military point of view,” the source noted.

A source at the General Staff added that the majority of North Korean troops in the Kursk region continue to participate in training.

In addition, the publication’s source said that the situation in the Kurachov region poses the greatest threat at the moment, as the occupiers are advancing there at a speed of 200-300 m per day and have managed to break through in some areas.

As the publication noted, Kurakhovo is a springboard to the Pokrovsk logistics center in the Donetsk region.

According to the source, about 575 thousand people are currently fighting against Ukraine. Russian soldiers, and the Russian Federation intends to increase this number to 690 thousand.

Reuters noted that Russian authorities do not disclose how many people are fighting in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s armed forces lack the infantry and artillery to hold back the Russian army, which is prepared to take staggering losses.
