The most generous backers of the first installment will receive Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for free
It’s been over 10 years since the Kingdom Come: Deliverance crowdfunding campaign was launched. With the Kickstarter campaign at the time, the Warhorse developers wanted to map out whether there was interest in the game. In the end, the interest was huge, not only in the Czech Republic, but all over the world. The most generous backers who backed the game at the beginning will now receive a delayed gift.
Kingdom Come free for loyal backers
The game studio Warhorse decided to surprise its most loyal fans and started sending information emails informing them that they will receive the second part of Kingdom Come: Deliverance completely free of charge. In addition, everyone can choose which platform they want the game on, how they inform users on income.
Warhorse’s move must have surprised many, as it’s very rare to see things being given away for free so many years after the Kickstarter campaign ended. It can be seen that the studio values its supporters and fans a lot.

Who all gets a free game?
The deciding factor for getting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for free is the amount donated on Kickstarter and the resulting backer rank. For example, a backer who donated 150 euros and a King backer who donated 360 euros received a free game.
However, the studio does not mention anywhere what is the minimum contribution amount that will ensure receiving the sequel for free. Contributors were then promised a second act of the game, which was eventually canceled due to a change in the direction of the game. Most likely, this is compensation for the cancellation of this promised content.
The release of the game is coming
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is due out this year on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series. The exact release date is not yet known, so it is possible that there may be a slight delay. Unlike the first part, the game will have a full-fledged Czech dubbing right from the release.
