Football players of Budućnosti Sutra (18) in the 8th round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League welcome Jedinstvo from Bijelo Polje.

For the first time since July 18 and the match with Mališev in the qualification for the League of Conferences, the “blue” from Podgorica will play the match at the stadium near Gorica. Due to the bad pitch at the City Stadium, Budućnost played matches at “DG Arena”, and the national team of Montenegro played the League of Nations match against Wales in Nikšić.

“We all waited a long time for that return home and we finally welcomed it. In front of our fans, in our stadium and in front of our audience, it is always the most beautiful. The fans have their own celebration, which will make the match even bigger, so we already feel their wind at our backs,” Milan Vukotić, the representative playmaker, told the club’s website.

Buducnost and Jedinstvo played 27 games, and the “blues” recorded 23 victories, while four matches ended in a draw. When it comes to duels under Gorica, Budućnost won 13 times, and the rivals drew two times.

“We are the Future and we always go for three points, no matter who the opponent is. Every game brings something new, so we don’t pay attention to tradition, but rely exclusively on our previous games and quality. Unity has potential, they play quality football, but we also wonder if we are at the same level as in the previous part of the championship – I don’t think the result should come into question”, Vukotić is clear.

Buducnost is undefeated in the current part of the championship, it has three points more than the second-placed Petrovac, and five more than the current champion, Dečić.

“The results we have achieved so far have shown that we have a team that is really worth it. A great group of guys has been created, which is eager to compete and which is adorned with togetherness at all times. Belief in one’s own abilities, along with great desire and togetherness, leads us to our goal from match to match, and more and more individuals emerge from such a situation”.

It was Vukotić in the previous round, with two goals, that settled the game with Jezera. The young member of the national team was recently invited by the coach of the A national team, Robert Prosinecki, and was with the team during the League of Nations.

“My position is such that I should always aim for goals and assists. Of course, I’m not burdened with that, because the success of the team is important to me, and as I said, someone always jumps out of that team. So last time it was me, tomorrow it will be someone else… I am satisfied with how we are playing, I am satisfied with my games in which I give 100 percent of myself and there is no reason why neither the team nor I should continue to play even better and even stronger”, he said.
