On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh Victory, a concert titled “Salam to the Flag of the Turks” was held at ATO Congresium, in cooperation with the International Turkic Cultural Organization (TURKSOY), Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Ankara and Ahmed Cevad Institute.
The concert was performed with an orchestra of 120 people, including the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, State Opera Ballet and TRT Polyphonic Choir.
In addition to Minister Güler, the concert was attended by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ankara Reşad Memmedov, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, President of Ahmed Cevad Institute and also Devlet Bahçeli’s Chief Advisor, Turkologist Prof. Dr. Ruhi Ersoy and many guests attended.

Minister Güler, who expressed his love and respect to the Azerbaijani people in his speech before the concert, wished God’s mercy to the Azerbaijanis who were martyred in the Homeland War, which is a sign of the heroism of the Azerbaijani army, and a speedy recovery to the veterans.
Stating that the liberation of Karabakh took place thanks to the courage and determination of the Azerbaijani army, Güler said, “With this victory, a historical opportunity has been opened for the establishment of permanent peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We hope that Armenia will act with the awareness of this. Because the Caucasus region is now “It needs friendship and cooperation, not conflict.” he said.
Emphasizing that a comprehensive normalization must be achieved as soon as possible for the stability and prosperity of the region, Güler said, “We expect the Zangezur Corridor, which will provide new economic and commercial opportunities to the countries of the region and serve permanent peace, to be implemented in line with the agreements. As Turkey, we do our part in this regard.” We are making the effort.” he said.
President Erdoğan celebrated Azerbaijan’s Victory Day
Touching on the importance of solidarity between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, the Minister said, “Türkiye is and will always be by Azerbaijan’s side.” he said.
Prof. Dr. Ersoy also emphasized the importance of solidarity and history between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
Ersoy said, “Our esteemed Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, established the Ahmed Cevad Institute within our party to build bridges of love in the Turkish world beyond politics and to conduct cultural and artistic activities and academic studies in order to carry the deep-rooted past of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations to a strong future.” he said.

Mammadov also thanked the guests who attended the event and said, “We are very pleased to have you with us today, as we celebrate the 4th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s glorious victory with the participation of all Turkish states.” he said.
Minister Fidan congratulated Azerbaijan’s Victory Day
Reminding that November 8 was declared “Victory Day” by the decision of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Mammedov said, “The Second Karabakh War further strengthened the national unity of our country. It made our country beautiful. We have relieved ourselves of the heavy burden of being under occupation.” he said.
Mammadov stated that the Azerbaijani people lived as “a victorious people with their foreheads open and their heads held high” after the victory, and said:
“Brother Turkey, whose state and nation stood with us in the homeland war of the Azerbaijani people, is one of the countries with which we share our joy. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and state officials visited Azerbaijan many times during the war, did not spare their political and moral support, and said ‘Turkey is against those who take steps against Azerbaijan.’ sees .’ “Giving a clear message to the whole world by saying this is one of the biggest indicators of solidarity between our country.”
Emphasizing that the relations of the two countries reached the highest level with the Shusha Declaration signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey in 2021, Mammedov said, “On this blessed day, we once again remember with respect the heroic sons of the homeland who lost their lives for the sake of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
