- Google Pixel Studio is an AI image creation app

Along with the new generation of Pixel flagship smartphones, Google also introduced a number of software innovations. One of them is the Pixel Studio app, which a combination of local and cloud models he can generate nice images right on your device. Since I have a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL at my disposal, I can show you how the service works in practice.
Before we start a more detailed analysis, I have to remind you of two fundamental limitations. Pixel Studio app first and foremost not supported on phones other than Google Pixel 9. Secondly, basically the app works only in selected regions, among which the Czech Republic is not classically found, and on the new Pixel does not come pre-installed. So you must have it install from an external source – I personally used the portal APKMirror.
Getting started and orientation in the application
After installing Pixel Studio and signing in with your Google account, you will prompted to download the Pixel AI modelwhich is used for image editing. In the meantime, however, you can create new images using text prompts.
Pixel Studio is equipped for this purpose button “Create” at the bottom of the screen. Next to it, you will find a smaller button with an image icon and a plus button, which you can use to upload your own image to the application. You can’t modify it in any way using text commands, but you can by clicking on a certain object create your own stickeror remove it completely from the image.
The front page of the Pixel Studio app offers several sample images sorted into categorieswhich you can not only view, but also edit as you wish. In the upper left corner you will find a folder with your projects.
Creating and editing your own image
As I mentioned in the previous chapter, you can design your own image by clicking the “Create” button. Once you’ve done so, you’ll be taken to a menu with a colored rounded square – with the created image appearing in its place – and a text field where you enter your prompt in English. You can also in the box choose a picture style (video game, anime, sticker, drawing, movie, etc.).
Image generation takes time only a few seconds and after it’s done, you can further interact with the freshly created image in many different ways. Click the arrow button to redo the build and the same prompt will be used. Click the label icon to change the style and the three-dot button to send feedback to Google about the quality of the generation. You can then always go back to the text box to additionally modified their original prompt.
The menu at the top of the screen offers the option to copy the image, share it, save it to the gallery on the device or delete it.
