Apple introduced the new iPhone 16 at the beginning of September, and they officially went on sale today. Compared to the previous generation, the new one brought several improvements and, as expected, the battery also received improvements. Apple has increased the capacity of all models and it has now finally been revealed. But if you were expecting a major increase, you will be disappointed.
Apple’s latest secret revealed
It is already more or less a tradition that Apple at the premiere of the new iPhones, it does not reveal all the technical specifications and usually leaves the operating memory and battery capacity aside. We often find out about these things only later, when the phones get into the hands of the first users and they run some specialized program on them, or take them apart.
It is no different with the new iPhones, although the capacity of the installed batteries was not revealed by any diligent handyman, but rather by the Brazilian regulatory authority and informed about it pages BlogDoiPhone. The biggest step up for the iPhone 16 Pro
So, as you can see, the biggest boost in this direction went to the Pro model, where the battery capacity was increased by almost 10%. The increase in capacity for the base version and the Plus specification is sure to please, as the exterior dimensions have remained the same for both models. For the flagship Pro Max, the increase of only 5.95%, on the other hand, is slightly disappointing, as the new generation has grown quite a bit year-on-year.
Although iPhones in no generation boast a super-standard battery capacity, they are always above average when it comes to durability. Behind this is exemplary optimization, and it can be assumed that the new iPhone 16 will be no different. The paper capacity of the batteries may not excite you at first glance, but they will certainly not disappoint with their endurance, on the contrary, they will rather positively surprise you. I’ll see what the first tests show.
