Its code is to be sent Android 15 from Google to Android Open Source Project (AOSP), but no pixel supported update has been released yet. Such a new version is rumored to arrive next month, and today we finally have an alleged release date.
According to a new internet report, it sounds like Google will launch the over-the-air rollout of the Android 15 update for Pixels on October 15. This report also comes with the caveat that things could change between now and then, especially if new bugs are discovered.
Android 15 will be available for Pixel 6 and newer devices. Hopefully with the late release (compared to AOSP), whatever comes out will be fully stable with no glaring issues.
Also, the new Android 15 will be released on the new Pixel 9 devices, which were announced in August, breaking the tradition of presenting new Pixels in October. So the Pixel 9 models launched with Android 14 on day one and will get Android 15 on October 15 like every other supported Pixel.
