Lynk & Co isn’t just about selling cars – it’s about changing the way we use them. Through its own sharing service, car owners can rent out their vehicles when they are not in use.
This sustainability focus means that fewer cars need to be manufactured, something that fits well in today’s environmentally conscious society.
But it’s not for everyone. In Sweden, only one in ten owners of Lynk & Co 01 registered as a landlord, compared to significantly higher figures in other countries. Even so, the concept is promising, especially for those who do not use the car on a daily basis.

Design that dares to take up space
On the outside, it is noticeable that the Lynk & Co 02 shares its foundation with cars such as the Volvo EX30 and Zeekr X. However, the design is softer and more discreet, with features reminiscent of the Tesla Model Y.
It is a car that blends in rather than stands out, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage depending on what you are looking for.
The interior is as stripped down as the exterior, but with smart solutions such as physical controls for the most important functions and a modular center console.
The materials are of recycled origin and the standard glass roof gives a spacious and airy feeling. It is a car that easily adapts to both families and solo drivers.

Comfort before driving pleasure
Behind the wheel, Lynk & Co 02 feels immediately comfortable. The soft suspension and quiet cabin make the car perfectly suited for longer journeys and everyday commuting.
The dynamics are not the car’s strongest point – the steering is light and somewhat imprecise, even in sport mode, and the throttle and brake feel could have been refined.
However, with its 272 horsepower on the rear axle, the car has more than enough power for all types of traffic. The range is 445 kilometers, and fast charging of up to 150 kW makes it easy to stay on the road. These numbers are neither class-leading nor bad, but reflect a well-balanced electric car.
A car for the wallet
What really makes the Lynk & Co 02 interesting is the price. The basic “Core” model costs SEK 429,995, while the more equipped “More” costs SEK 474,995.
That makes the 02 the cheapest option among the cars on the SEA2 platform with the corresponding powertrain and equipment.
However, unlike the Lynk & Co 01, the 02 cannot be subscribed to, which may deter some potential customers. For those looking for an affordable, electric crossover with a focus on durability and functionality, however, it is a car well worth considering.
With its unique concept and attractive pricing, the Lynk & Co 02 feels like a smart investment – and a car that may not arouse desire but delivers what is really needed.
