We will promote the fruits of our joint work

THE PRESIDENT of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, today called on Chinese investors to come to Serbia, to invest, to open their plants, to import raw materials and then to process those goods with the label “made in Serbia”.

In a conversation with the citizens after the visit to the complex of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krupanj, he said that he had learned a lot through previous talks with the locals and said that thanks to the Free Trade Agreement, “both we and the Chinese will promote the fruits of our joint work”.

He said that the goods will be exported to the market of 2.4 billion inhabitants, that is, to the market of the EU, Russia, China, EFTA.

Zoran Pajić stated that for his carpentry shop, this year was bad for production, that he had problems with getting electricity as well as the logs that, as he stated, he requested from Srbijašum. Vučić then said that the meaning of what forest administrations do is to restore forests, to preserve and take care of them.

– That is a task, but also that people can work and earn money so that we can have greater production, and not that Bosnia and Herzegovina or some other countries are incomparably more successful than us in this. It is not a question of how much money you will take in your pockets, but how much we will raise another person who depends on the tree – he said.

He added that it makes sense because two, three, five, ten people will be employed that way. He emphasized the importance of preserving forests and employing as many people as possible in Serbia.

– We have to restore, preserve and take care of the forests, but so that people can work and earn in order to increase production, and not so that BiH or some other countries are more successful than us in this – he said.

The President of Serbia said that we must keep the deficit below three percent, the public debt rate below 60 percent, in relation to the gross domestic product, as well as preserve the stability of public finances and take care of the future.

– Not a single pension, not a single salary must be late, you have to keep the rate, you have to keep everything – emphasized Vučić. Citizens are still interested in the construction of local roads that would facilitate their business.
