The intensity of the heat wave, which affected the entire territory of Serbia, is finally weakening, announced the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ).
In the coming period, showers with thunder are expected in the territory of Serbia, and somewhere local disasters will be more intense, accompanied by hail and stormy winds.
Urgent warnings will be issued for specific locations one to two hours in advance, announced the RHMZ.
The maximum temperature today and tomorrow (18.07. and 19.07) will range from 33 to 37 °C (in Belgrade from 34 to 36 °C), and then from Saturday the temperature will drop slightly, so the maximum daily temperature is expected to be in the range of 30 to 34 °C (in Belgrade from 30 to 32 °S). Tropical nights will linger in larger urban areas.
In the following hours, unstable weather with local showers and thunderstorms is expected in the hilly and mountainous areas in the southwest and south of Serbia.
As RTS writes, special caution is necessary for heart patients and people with fluctuating blood pressure. Headache and changeable mood are possible meteoropathic reactions due to sudden weather changes, and it is recommended to dress appropriately and avoid major physical efforts.
