The group, a major player in online entertainment, announces the launch of a new advertising agency brand, accompanied by the tagline “Creators of desire(s)”.
This new step marks the desire to simplify the group’s offering and value proposition to advertisers and their agencies. With 20 media and social brands in France in the entertainment and leisure worlds, Webedia is a global player in online entertainment. Present in more than 15 countries, the group integrates professions in production, media and digital creators in vertical models, particularly in the cinema, video games or cooking sectors. Webedia publishes in France the media brands AlloCiné, JV, Purepeople and supports Inoxtag and Michel Cymes…, a historical anchoring with digital creators and influencers, and integrated production studios (ELEPHANT, Kiosco, IDZ prod…) The group announces the creation of a new brand “Webedia Advertising” bringing together its advertising management activities : display, online video, programmatic, data, influence, brand content, production and special operations. Its mission: to bring brands into premium entertainment and leisure contexts to target young people. This entity aims to reaffirm three major axes: The complementarity between influence and production activities, and Webedia’s historic business as media publisher, serving effective customer strategies (29 million unique visitors to their sites, and 500 million views on social networks on the group’s media brands); unique and unified responses to brand communication challenges by capitalizing on its complete range of solutions, combining online video campaigns, event displays, data activations and audience extension, sponsorship of premium digital formats, influence systems and audiovisual production and finally a role of deciphering and pedagogy by strengthening support in understanding developments in media and their consumption. A new strategic planning team has been created to imagine the most impactful and up-to-date measures: creativity, data, livestream, events, etc.
