Although he was married for 20 years to a medical colleague, with whom he has two children, Colonel Valeriu Gheorghiţă married the actress Monica Bârlădeanu, after more than a year of relationship.
The two had a fairytale wedding on Saturday, October 5, and the party took place at the Snagov Palace, with many stars and personalities of the moment being invited to the event. The bride, the beautiful actress Monica Bârlădeanu, is in her first marriage and literally shone in two dream outfits.
The religious wedding, kept secret
The religious wedding was kept secret and no one knew what happened throughout the day. In the evening, however, when the party started, pictures started to flow on social media.
The party started with the bride and groom’s dance, for which Monica Bîrlădeanu and Valeriu Gheorghiță chose a love song, to which they waltzed for the first time as husband and wife, according to rtv.net.
Menu with exclusive dishes and Black Tie dress code
The godparents of the two lovers were the couple’s friends – Mariana and Ionuț Tudorache, and the menu was a special one with exclusive dishes, such as caviar, but also classic Romanian delicacies, such as sarmale or fish.
The chef at the wedding was Petrișor Tănase, and the menu consisted of a rich aperitif with aromatic chicken egg, dried salmon fillets, duck breast and many others, according to libertatea.ro. As main dishes, the guests served sturgeon with a side dish, traditional sarmales, beef tenderloin and others. At the end, guests were served with a multi-tiered cake.
It should be mentioned that the wedding guests had to follow a strict dress code, called “Black Tie”. According to this dress code, the jacket must be black or navy with peaked or shawl lapels. The trousers must be black and made of the same material as the jacket, and the shirt must be white, preferably a model with a breastplate. Despite the name, men will not have to wear a black tie, but a black bow tie. Finally, the shoes will have to be black.
Women will have to wear any kind of elegant dress, long ones being recommended, and the color black is very common for dresses in these events.
Adelina Pestrițu, Daciana, Victor Ponta’s wife, Maria Buză, Elvira Datcu, Gina Pistol, Andreea Marin, Andreea Raicu and many many other stars came to spend with the two newlyweds at the Snagov Palace.
The doctor Valariu Gheorghiţă was the coordinator of the anti-COVID vaccination in Romania, and currently he is part of the medical team of the Romanian Intelligence Service.
