Thursday’s radio morning hears a useful investor, but there is also talk of protesting restaurants, the US election and the recognition of the farmer of the year.

In the new week, the president of the United States will become clear. At half past nine, we will find out from the stock trader Igor Doroshenko, what steps should be taken as an investor before the election results are revealed. We also ask what stood out from the giants’ results published during the week.

We will also talk about the US elections at 8:30 with Äripää journalist Indrek Lepik, who has arrived in the country of weighty language and shares his impressions directly from Philadelphia.

On Thursday, there will be a protest action by restaurants and accommodation establishments against tax increases. Restaurateur Triin Kõresoo talks about the stoppage of work at Salt and Stereo restaurants, as well as the restaurant business in general.

We will also listen to an interview with Margo Klaasmäe, CEO of Muuga PM, a dairy cattle and grain and rapeseed farming company that won the Farmer of the Year award. He told Äripää journalist Stiine Reintam why he received such a title, how the year has gone, what the price of milk is doing and what is his message to the government.

The program day continues with four programs:

11.00-12.00 “In focus: smart industry”. Karl-Joosep Pärtel, the co-founder of Raiku, a start-up company that produces wooden packaging material, i.e. springs, will be visiting the show, with whom we will talk about the recent announcement of how the company got into the accelerator of a large French luxury goods manufacturer, as well as what the company’s development plans are in general.

According to Pärtel, the most important thing for the team right now is the launch of the pilot plant in Estonia, and this week, for example, the first new production line was put into operation. The head of the company acknowledges that demand is currently high and the luxury goods sector has shown the most interest. The show is hosted by Harro Puusild.

12.00–13.00 “Leading the future”. In the new content marketing program series, we talk with prominent Estonian company managers about how they prepare their company for the future, i.e. what they are preparing for in their company and in their sector, and how sustainable editing is one of the key components.

In the first program, Andres Hiiepuu, the CEO of the telecom company Elisa Eesti, which is recognized both in Estonia and internationally for its responsible operation, will be visiting, and he will explain how their sector will soon turn from telecom to digicom and what changes this means for the organization, its partners and customers as well as its manager, and how to make sustainability a competitive advantage. We also talk about the importance of change management and the keys to its success, and dispel myths about sustainable operations.

13.00–14.00 “Behind the square meters”. The head of Riigi Kinnisvara, Tarmo Leppoja, is visiting, with whom we will talk about the state company’s budget, investments and managed real estate. We ask how much the significantly more expensive reconstruction of the National Library will cost and whether these costs are justified, how much and on the basis of which methodology RKAS increases the rental price of the property it owns, how construction procurements are organized and who usually participates in real estate auctions.

15.00-16.00 “Remembrance Day”. A special show in which two jubilarians have an entertaining memory match: Äripäev and Eesti Ekspress.

Äripää is represented by director general Igor Rõtov and editor-in-chief Meelis Mandel, founder of Eesti Ekspress Hans H. Luik and journalist Märt Belkin.

Janar Tiiroja, the presenter and question maker, alternately asks the teams ten questions, and they have to find the correct answer during the discussion. Hints are also played in the game and points are scored from the other team.
