Elon Musk would have expressed his support for Giorgia Meloni, the prime minister of Italy, whom he sees as a “defender of Western values”, like Donald Trump, writes La Repubblica.
The claims were made by Andrea Stroppa, a 30-year-old Italian computer scientist who works with one of Musk’s companies, SpaceX.
A complex role in the relationship between Elon Musk and Italy
Stroppa, known for his former hacker background as well as expertise in digital security, including as a consultant to former Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, plays a complex role in the relationship between Musk and Italy.
Stroppa is also a confidant of Musk, managing his relations in Italy and arranging meetings with Italian officials.
Last year, he accompanied Musk to his first meeting with Meloni at Palazzo Chigi.
Musk met with Girogia Meloni at the United Nations General Assembly.
