The best tennis player ever Novak Djokovicrecently provided a deeper insight into his views during a guest appearance on the show “Evening with Ivan Ivanović” already Flash television.
In addition to his sporting successes, Djokovic spoke openly about important issues related to education, upbringing and social changes, including his view of the role of technology in the lives of young people.
During the conversation, Djokovic highlighted how contemporary challenges affect educational and parental approaches.
– I learned from Jelena Genčić why it is important to listen to classical music, to read books. Today’s generation has a lot more challenges, back then there was no social media, they just look at their phones. It is not looked at from a different perspective, we are now living in the digital age, technological development is incredible – said Djokovic.
In an emotional address, Djokovic shared how he and his wife struggle to preserve traditional values in the digital world.
– My children still don’t have phones, my wife and I are fighting. They complain: ‘Everyone but us has it at school.’ It is not easy, and this is reflected on other levels. If everyone is doing something, the herd works like this, you have to follow. Well, it doesn’t have to be like that. This is where I think we differ from others, because we are headstrong in both positive and negative ways – added Djokovic.
