Since first hearing Tindersticks in 1995, and instantly becoming addicted to the melancholic mood of songs like ‘Tiny Tears’, ‘Travelling Light’ and ‘She’s Gone’, I’ve been regularly worshiping the Nottingham band and their sad waltz.
Tindersticks in Radiohuset’s concert hall on Saturday 12 October.
On Saturday evening they were to give a concert in Radiohuset’s sold-out concert hall with a really good new album ‘Soft Tissue’ behind them. So expectations were higher than in a long time. At the same time, listening to Tindersticks has made me think about what that melancholy really is.
