Nothing, originally more of a startup, quickly established itself in the technology field and is now one of the more or less established brands. It started to build its name with excellent wireless headphones and later, of course, phones came, which, like everything else from this brand, rely on a partially transparent design. How is Nothing Phone (3) doing?
Nothing Phone (3): Translucent and glowing
The main distinguishing feature of the Nothing phones is the original design built around a partially transparent construction and a light interface on the back. This serves as a notification center for incoming events, and thanks to these features, mobiles from the Nothing company definitely did not get lost among the competition. And they won’t even lose in the future.
After the first model Phone (1) came the second generation Phone (2), which arrived a year later and unfortunately we didn’t see any new generation last year. The company behind Carl Pei introduced the lightweight model Phone (2a), but the full-fledged successor of the second generation of this phone did not arrive. But it looks like Nothing is currently working on it.
Back to middle class?
In the synthetic benchmark database Geekbench a new phone codenamed Nothing A059 has been spotted, believed to be the successor to the Phone (2), hence the expected Nothing Phone (3). The phone was spotted with an unspecified processor, but according to clock frequency information, it is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 model.
Does this perhaps mean that the phone is returning to the middle class, from which it stepped towards the segment of lightweight flagships with the Phone (2) model? Yes and no. It is said that Nothing is preparing two specifications, and the Phone (3) will be the basic one, on top of which the top-of-the-line model called the Phone (3) Pro will be placed. It should also receive a significantly more powerful processor.
Compact guy
Otherwise, the basic Nothing Phone (3) should be built around a 6.5-inch display, so it could be relatively compact. In addition to the synthetic performance, the Geekbench benchmark also shows that the phone will run Android 15 out of the box, i.e. the Nothing OS 3.0 system. When this news will premiere is unfortunately in the stars for now, but we will definitely not see it until 2025.
