What is the future of Korean society in the absence of leadership? Conservative think tank 8-day joint seminar

The ‘Truth and Correct Opinion Solidarity’, in which four conservative think tanks participate, is holding a seminar to examine the ‘conditions of leadership in Korea’ amid the swirling political situation every day, including the impeachment of the President.

The ‘Solidarity for Truth and Correct Opinion’ (Solidarity) announced on the 6th that it will hold a seminar on the topic of ‘Conditions of Korean Leadership’ amid the impeachment situation at the International Conference Hall of the Global Center Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 8th. This seminar will focus on discussing uncertainty caused by the absence of leadership in Korean society and ways to overcome it.


The alliance, which consists of four think tanks including the Economic and Social Research Institute, Korean Peninsula Advancement Foundation, Anmin Policy Forum, and K Policy Platform, was formed with the purpose of uncovering the truth through collective intelligence and presenting national political opinions.

Park Seong-hee, a professor in the Department of Communication and Media at Ewha Womans University, will serve as moderator for the day. Discussants include Kang Won-taek, a professor at the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Seoul National University, Lee Hak-young, a standing editorial advisor at the Korea Economic Daily, Choi Chang-geun, an Epoch Times reporter, and lawyer Jeong Jae-wook.

Park Ji-young, director of the Korea Economic and Social Research Institute, who hosted the seminar, said, “I hope that through this seminar, more citizens and experts will think together about leadership that will open the future of Korea.”
