What is your favorite fall food?

Fall is gradually setting in, and just as our wardrobe changes with the seasons, our diet will change too. Adapting your diet to the seasons is crucial for our health, our wallet and for the planet!

Autumn offers us magical landscapes, but also a selection (wider than you might think) of delicious fruits and vegetables.

Among the stars of autumn, we offer you the apple. She is the favorite fruit of the French. They consume 17 kg per year per household on average in all its forms. Apple is a source of antioxidants and dietary fiber which reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer and asthma.

The chestnut symbol of autumn and often confused with brown, it contains many benefits for our health. It is very rich in carbohydrates, fiber and vitamin B9, ideal for muscles and well-being. More than 5,000 tonnes are produced in France each year.

THE squash and pumpkins are also emblematic of autumn. THE cucurbits can be enjoyed in all sauces. Starters, dessert dishes, gourmet recipes are numerous. Full of vitamin A, they are made up of more than 90% water, they are low in calories and very nourishing.

THE Nut have something to seduce us, they prove to be powerful antioxidants and boost cognitive health. A handful of nuts every day would be good for memory ! In autumn, they are eaten fresh as an aperitif of course, but also in cooking with endives or as a dessert where the range of tarts, cakes and biscuits is inexhaustible!

The raisinwe taste it every hour of the day. It is a source of vitamins, minerals and fiber. Much appreciated, 1 in 7 fruits purchased by French households is a bunch of grapes. A glass of juice in the morning, a few grains in the afternoon, in the evening with fresh nuts and good cheese. It is said that grapes are the secret to eternal youth…
