Communication service WhatsApp has been testing the possibility for a long time automatic transcription of voice messages. Now it is finally making it available in the stable version of its mobile application. However, there is one catch.
Slovak is not yet supported
The catch is that the supported languages for automatic transcription of voice messages are so far English, Portuguese, Spanish a Russian. It can be assumed that other languages will gradually be added, but it is currently very difficult to estimate when we will see Slovak. Even in Slovakia, however, we can find many people communicating, for example, in in English. However, the attached image from the official blog is in Slovak, so hopefully one day support for our language will come.
The feature comes in handy when you’re in a noisy environment or simply can’t stop to listen to a long voice message. Or you need privacy for her. The good news is that transcripts are generated on the device, so no one else can hear or read your messages. And not even the service itself.
