Wheat leads – Better Earth

In the previous week, the dominant position in trading on the Product Exchange was once again occupied by wheat. A lot of activity was recorded on the market, where 4,673.20 tons of goods were traded, with a total financial value of RSD 121,854,336.00. The price of corn recorded a decline, while the price of wheat achieved a statistical increase.

Wheat on top; Maize less active

Activities on the corn market were reduced compared to the previous week, and 71.59% less goods were traded. The supply of corn exceeded the demand, with exchange contracts concluded in a wide price range from 18.70 to 19.70 dinars/kg without VAT, depending on the aflatoxin analysis and parity. The weighted price was 19.41 din/kg without VAT (21.35 din/kg with VAT), and a negative price trend of 1.38% was recorded. Exchange contracts were also concluded at the CPT port parity at a price of 20.70 dinars/kg without VAT. In the total volume of turnover, corn participated with a 14% share.

A lot of activity was recorded on the wheat market this week as well, and it was once again the primary crop in trading, accounting for as much as 74% of the total weekly turnover. An increased offer was also noticeable in this market throughout the week. Exchange contracts were concluded in the price range from 22.20 to 22.90 dinars/kg without VAT, depending on quality and parity parameters. The weighted price was 22.66 din/kg without VAT (24.93 din/kg with VAT). Although statistically a price increase of 0.14% was recorded, as the week drew to a close, a price drop was noticeable. Exchange contracts for delivery in the period from 5 to 20 November 2024 at a price of 22.00 to 22.30 din/kg without VAT have also been concluded. Wheat with 14% protein was also traded at a price of 25.50 din/kg without VAT.

Soy nothing

The soybean market during the week was extremely passive, with minimal activity on the supply and demand side, which resulted in the absence of purchase contracts.

There was also no significant activity on the feed barley market, except for one contract at the end of the week for barley with a hectoliter weight of at least 60 kg, at a price of 21.20 din/kg without VAT.

When it comes to fertilizers, UREA, Russian, caught, in a 25/1 package was sold at a price of 44.60 din/kg without VAT (380 €/t without VAT). Exchange contracts were also concluded for NP 5:30 in jumbo bags at a price of 43.44 din/kg without VAT (€370/t without VAT) and NPK 16:16:16 in packaging 25/1 at a price from 51.54 din/kg without VAT (439 €/t without VAT).

Among other goods, sunflower meal with 33% protein was also traded at a price of 26.70 din/kg without VAT.
