And while wheat dominates, corn grows
The beginning of the week on the wheat market was calm, with a good offer, but weak buyer activity. Already from the next day, there was a change in dynamics, where the increased activity of buyers, primarily exporters, was noticeable. Exchange contracts for wheat were concluded in the price range from 22.00 to 23.00 din/kg without VAT, depending on the quality parameters. The weighted price was 22.58 din/kg without VAT (24.83 din/kg with VAT). Although there was an increase in the price of wheat this week, statistically, it still recorded a drop of 1.84% because wheat with higher quality parameters was traded during the last week.
Exchange contracts for corn were concluded in the price range from 17.50 to 19.00 din/kg without VAT. Reduced activity of stock exchange participants and price spread between supply and demand marked the previous days on the corn market. The weighted price was 18.01 din/kg without VAT (19.81 din/kg with VAT), showing a price drop of 1.29% compared to seven days earlier.
And while corn grows, soybeans exist
The least activity on the commodities market is still recorded for soybeans. During the week, the supply of this oilseed was weak or completely absent. Soybeans were traded at a price of 53.30 din/kg without VAT (58.63 din/kg with VAT) with the calculation of quality, which also represents the price weight. Compared to the last comparative data, the price of soybeans recorded a drop of 5.66%.
Of the other goods, mineral fertilizer UREA, Russian, caught, in 25/1 packaging was traded at a price of 44.00 din/kg (375 €/t) without VAT, while the price for AN, Russian in jumbo bags was 33.09 din/kg (282 €/t) without VAT.
