When foreclosures came, municipalities that resisted paying their debts began to apply to SSI.

Minister Işıkhan, in his speech at the AK Party Çankırı Youth Branch 7th Ordinary Congress held at Hasan Fehmi Gökşen Sports Hall, said that the AK Party is not just a political party, but the manifestation of the national will in politics.

Stating that the youth is the generation that will ensure the rise and development of the nation and become the power that guides the world, Işıkhan said, “For this reason, we do not have even a minute to waste. We must work hard and strive hard. Especially my young brothers, you must work hard to become more equipped with knowledge, experience and education.” On the one hand, you should spend all your effort and energy to serve our country, our nation and our cause, and on the other hand, I believe that you should develop yourself in accordance with the talents and qualities needed by our age. “There is a lot of it among the young people of this country.” he said.

“HANİ AYRIMCILIK?”

Explaining that the AK Party is a role model for other parties in every issue, and one of them is its understanding of municipalism, Işıkhan said:

“Our nation has seen that one of the biggest reasons why CHP municipalities are in debt is the astronomical amounts paid for concerts. You also know about their SSI debts. Since CHP municipalities are always the most indebted municipalities, they do not want us to raise this issue. The most indebted municipalities are CHP’s.” Is it our fault that we discriminate between municipalities? For example, we provide 1 billion 65 million lira to every municipality that applies to us within the framework of the legislation. The municipality with which we made the largest real estate exchange at one time was CHP’s Küçükçekmece Municipality. Is this discrimination? Again, there were real estate offers from Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and Bolu Municipality. Now, when it comes to foreclosures, we are taking action from the source. When the deduction regulation was introduced, municipalities that resisted paying their debts gradually started to apply to SSI, which is a good development and this is our aim. “Despite this, I would like to express that we will collect the debt of every municipality that does not take steps, from the source.”

“THEY ARE TRYING TO DECEIVE THE NATION”

Underlining that one of the biggest threats today for the youth and the nation who will build the future of the country is the swamp of populism, Işıkhan said, “They are trying to deceive the nation with baseless and empty promises in the economy, employment, social security and social policies. Even though they know that it will put a great burden on your shoulders in the long run, we will not contribute to our development.” And they continue to practice populism, knowing that it will harm our stability. Today, as they say, God forbid, the economy will collapse, the social security system will collapse, the health system will also collapse. Our foreign policy will collapse and our fight against terrorism will collapse. God forbid, Turkey will return to the darkness of the 1990s. It is not easy to fight against populism. That is why our young people should not allow such cheap opposition to be built on their own future as the AK Party. “We are not after short-term gains, but permanent prosperity and development.” he said.

AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Muhammet Emin Akbaşoğlu stated that young people should work for a fully independent Turkey, which was targeted by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and said, “He showed the goal of a fully independent Turkey in the national defense industry, economy, and in every field, and put forward these goals as a goal to rise above the level of contemporary civilizations.” “The leader who put these dreams forward is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the leader who turned these dreams and goals into reality is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.” he said.

AK Party Youth Branch Deputy Chairman Ebubekir Şen, AK Party Provincial Chairman Koray Erdoğan and party members attended the congress.
