Kacır said at the 17th Giresun Promotion Days held in Kağıthane Hasbahçe Recreation Area that nearly 500 thousand Giresun citizens live in Istanbul, and that Giresun citizens add value to Istanbul and all the cities they live in with their contributions and efforts.

Kacır stated that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they have brought centuries-old services to Turkey in every field, from education to health, from agriculture to transportation, from industry to technology, from culture to tourism, and continued as follows:
“We are working hard together to make the second century of our Republic the ‘Turkey Century’. We are raising the bar of work and service every day to raise Turkey above the level of contemporary civilizations. We have made many dreams come true together in our Giresun. Together, we realized the Eğribel Tunnel, the gateway of the Eastern Black Sea to Central Anatolia and Eastern Anatolia, which we have been waiting for for years. We brought Giresun Ordu Airport, which connects Giresun to the world, to our nation and our fellow citizens, once again showing that our passion for service does not fit on earth, but has moved to the sky. Minister Kacır announced! Good news for mega international investment in one of our cities
Minister Kacır stated that, with the vision of the Local Development Move, they have brought Giresun together with many investments and services in the last 22 years.SERVICES PROVIDED TO GİRESUN
Regarding the services provided to Giresun, Kacır said:
“In the last 22 years, we have issued incentive certificates for 446 investments in Giresun. We have mobilized over 29 billion liras of investment and more than 14 thousand employment. We had only one Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) in our city 22 years ago. Now, Giresun has 4 OIZs.” We have, hopefully, the fifth one in Şebinkarahisar. We have always supported our SMEs, which are the pioneers of the economy in our city. Until 22 years ago, the number of SMEs benefiting from KOSGEB supports was on the fingers of two hands. However, KOSGEB was established in 1990. An institution, we have provided 740 million lira of KOSGEB support to more than 7 thousand SMEs in Giresun since 2002.
With our Development Agency and our Eastern Black Sea Project Regional Development Administration, we activated the local dynamics of our city and accelerated its development. To date, we have supported 233 million lira to 166 projects through our Development Agency. Through our Eastern Black Sea Project Regional Development Administration, we contributed 1 billion 400 million liras to 155 projects of our local administrations, universities and public institutions. “In the coming period, within the scope of our Regional Development National Strategy, we will jointly build many vision projects in the fields of industry, production, employment, tourism and social facilities that will revitalize the economy in Giresun.”
Minister Kacır: We have given incentives to 3 thousand 363 investments in the health sector in the last 22 years.
Minister Kacır stated that they will further accelerate Giresun’s value-added production, employment and economic development, and bring new tourism investments and manufacturing industry facilities to the city.
DESCRIPTION OF GİRESUN ISLAND
Minister of Industry and Technology Kacır stated that they will implement projects that will further increase the tourism potential of the city and contribute to its preference in summer and winter.
Stating that they will bring Giresun Island to tourism, Kacır said, “With our Paradise Valley and Shah Road Cultural Route Project, we will renovate the historical artifacts, bridges, fountains, churches and many historical village houses on the Shah Road route, between the Black Sea Coastal Road and Giresun Alucra district.” We will convert 20 houses into accommodation facilities and our Çakrak village will be at the center of this route. We will also build ski slopes in the region with Dereli Winter Tourism Center, and for the return from these slopes, we will bring a ski lift and ski training center to Giresun, which is one kilometer long and can carry 1500 people per hour. “We will win.” he said.
Kacır stated that they will realize a new facility that will provide health tourism services in Alucra in the coming period, with the vision of Local Development Move, and said:
“With the Göksu White to Blue Journey Project, we will implement new activities that will serve nature and adventure tourism on the banks of the Aksu River, among the travertines and the Blue Lake. We will establish a Vocational Training and Innovation Center in Giresun, offer technical education with high equipment to our young brothers from Giresun, and hopefully create a qualified workforce in our city.” We will take steps towards more value-added production of hazelnuts, whose reputation exceeds our borders, with new projects in the coming period.
For this purpose, we will establish a Hazelnut Processing Industry R&D and Efficiency Center in Giresun, the capital of hazelnuts. With the Giresun Hazelnut Museum and Theme Park, which we will bring to our city, we will present a new service area to our citizens, from production workshops to exhibition areas. We will bring a cultural center and hopefully a youth center in the name of Ara Güler, an important value of our Şebinkarahisar, to our Şebinkarahisar. “In our Giresun Hazelnut Bazaar Project, we will hopefully ensure the clustering of both hazelnut producers and marketers and contribute to its branding.”

Kacır emphasized that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they continue their efforts with the understanding of total development without leaving any of the 81 cities behind.
Kacır said that they are in a great struggle without compromising the “complete independence” essence of the founding of the Republic in a geography that has turned into a ring of fire on all sides, and added: “The strong continuation of this struggle depends on our unity, solidarity and brotherhood. The success of this struggle depends on our unity, solidarity and brotherhood in today’s world.” “It depends on us being stronger in industry and technology. Our valuable orators have just talked about the heroism of the people of Giresun. Our people are patriotic, they are firmly attached to their state, flag and nation. Kacır called on the people of Giresun, especially its youth, and said:
