Where were we, ChatGPT? | OnlineMarketing.de

Simply continue an old chat or search for it as a reference: This is easy with the search function for the history of your ChatGPT conversations on the web – very soon also for free users.

Once again there is a new function that is intended to enhance your ChatGPT experience. OpenAI announced via X that users can now also search chat history on the web. This feature is particularly helpful for those who use the AI bot regularly. With the help of the feature, users can find chats again and continue them directly, which can be helpful, for example, in research contexts or in relation to ongoing developments. It is also possible to use previous chats as a reference for new conversations or for any other purpose – showing, sharing, etc.

OpenAI has good news up its sleeve for everyone who uses ChatGPT in the free version: the feature should be available for them as early as next month. Plus and team users have immediate access. Edu and enterprise users then within a week.

ChatGPT features promote conversational exchange

This feature strengthens the AI bot’s approach to offering users the most comprehensive and multi-layered conversation experience possible. The memory function, which was recently rolled out in Europe, also contributes to this. This allows ChatGPT to save information that was shared during the chat and retrieve it later. The company has also finally rolled out Advanced Voice Mode in the EU. The mode allows users to have human-like conversations in a voice context, including interruptions and emotion recognition.

Other tech players such as Google, Anthropic, Microsoft and Co. are also developing a chat and information experience with Gemini Live, various voice and vision modes and increasingly powerful AI models in the background that influence the digital space, people’s search behavior and the type and the way they access content is increasingly changing.
