Now let’s go over the offer and prices of the consoles. Some consoles are now discounted until the beginning of December, but apparently the discounts will come even before Christmas.

Xbox consoles already have a more powerful X and a lower S version by default, where Microsoft expanded both versions with new versions this year. The Xbox Series X received a white digital version, which is currently unavailable here (for example, it is on the German Amazon) and also a 2TB version, which has not even arrived. The Xbox Series S received a white 1TB version that is available.
The discount is currently only the Series S version, which is a nice offer for 249 euros. But especially in connection with Game Pass Ultimate, every Xbox is interesting, because with it you get many games and all new games from Microsoft, and there is also an extensive offer of games from EA and other companies

If you want to play multiplayer games on Xbox, of course you need a subscription (except for free 2 play games), where Game Pass Core is purely for multiplayer, which comes with dozens of games, but if you want all new games as well, or you want to play through streaming, it’s a good idea to get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It also includes the new Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Stalker 2, Flight Simulator 2024 or the upcoming Indiana Jones. Plus Game Pass Ultimate also works on PC.

As for games, these days they are primarily bought digitally, but you can also find physical games with discs in stores. Note here that the disc versions only go for the black Xbox Series X version with the drive. Many of the games are also in Game Pass, so if you’re going to buy, you might want to check that first.

Similar to Xbox, you have to buy games based on which version of the console you have. If it is without mechanics, then digital versions. If with mechanics, you can also disc versions.

Plus, of course, to play multiplayer games (except free 2 play games), you need at least a PlayStation Essential subscription for the console, but if you subscribe to the more expensive Playstation Extra subscription, you also have the entire game package right in the subscription. Nintendo Switch
Switch is already a console classic that offers both a console that can be connected to a TV and handheld gaming in one. Although this is probably her last Christmas. Switch 2 will come in the spring to replace it. Therefore, the convenience of buying this older version is now questionable, but the console still has a lot of high-quality older games and even Fortnite, and it can please.
The console now has three versions, a basic one with an LCD display, a newer one with an OLED display and a small Lite for even more portable gaming. Only with Lite, do not connect it to the TV and do not disconnect the controllers from it.
