Talk format will no longer be included in the program in 2025. The format has been in the program since 2020.
The Cologne news channel ntv will not continue its talk show “#beisenherz”. The “Süddeutsche Zeitung” found out about this from the broadcaster. The format started in 2020, back then under the name “#timeline”. According to his own statements, the moderator wanted to take up the topics with his guests on the show that are particularly hotly debated online. This year, this worked very well in a linear fashion – the most successful editions achieved a market share of up to around five percent in the classic target group. But that didn’t help with an extension.
Why is ntv discontinuing “#beisenherz”? There is a somewhat cryptic statement from the news channel about this, in which it is said that the focus of its formats is regularly sharpened with a view to a “consistent continuation” of the “digital transformation process”.
What will Micky Beisenherz present in 2025?
For Micky Beisenherz, who is also known as the podcast host of “Apocalypse & Filterkaffee” and also regularly speaks on WDR in “Kölner Treff”, a regular assignment is no longer necessary. The presenter and author, who is also very active on social media, has not yet commented on the end of the show on his accounts.
By the way, the end of the talk is not the only change coming to ntv in 2025. On Wednesday it was also announced that ntv program manager Sonja Schwetje would be leaving the station next year and taking over management of RTL from February 1st. She will succeed Michael Pohl, who is retiring. Martin Gradl will remain managing director of ntv even after Schwetje’s departure.
