Ultimately, however, the most important methods of protection are right under our noses. One of them is common sense, which protects us from falling into traps.
The second one is passwords, or methods of restricting access to accounts, computers and our wireless network. We often think that home WiFi network it cannot be in any way threatened from the outside. This is a mistake that can easily make you a victim of online fraud. WIFI password it is also an effective protection against unwanted guests within our home network. It is worth ensuring that it is a real barrier, not just a fiction.
If we want to know our wifi passwordoften all we need is the router we have at home. Usually, after the modem and router are installed by the Internet provider, our home network is provided with a default password. Where to find them? Typically it is located on the router casing.

Now just right-click on the Wi-Fi connection, select Stan from the context menu and go to the tab Security. At the bottom there is an option Show signsallowing you to reveal the Wi-Fi network password.
If we want check the WiFi password on your phoneit is easiest to do it on Android. Owners of Samsung, Xiaomi or other models with the Google system can do it in the settings menu. There we find the WiFi tab and then use the List of saved passwords option. There we can view the passwords of saved networks.
The situation is more difficult when using Apple phones. How to check WiFi password on iPhone? In fact, the only “dedicated” method is to use saved passwords in iCloud. Alternatively, we can log into the router from a web browser – just as we would on a computer.
Default WIFI password is definitely a difficult string of characters to remember. It is worth setting your own password, but remembering that it should be effective – i.e. safe. How can you edit it? Changing your WiFi password is easy and can be done, for example, from a computer.
To do this, we need to log in to the router. To do this, we enter its address in the browser bar – usually it is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. After logging in (using your password) we will be able to view and edit many options. One of them is change wifi password.
