“In anticipation of the high season, we have reduced the base rate for all types of deliveries to marketplace facilities in order to prevent sellers from increasing their expenses on logistics services given the approaching period of peak demand,” the company said.
They also said that sellers can always ship goods to Wildberries warehouses and sorting centers for free. More than 55% of the space at all the company’s logistics facilities is available for free.
As for tariffs, now the cost of delivery for the “Box” and QR delivery types is 1.7 rubles per liter (instead of 3.5 rubles), and for the “Monopallet” type – 500 rubles per pallet (instead of 1000 rubles).
The company says that reducing the cost of acceptance will reduce the cost of delivering goods to more than 70% of all sellers on the platform.
In the summer, a fee was introduced for accepting goods into Wildberries warehouses on a permanent basis, and a little later it increased sharply. Sellers say that because of the new rule, they are losing money and are going to go to competitors of the “berries”. The company called it a temporary measure.
