Wildberries will return 900 million rubles in fines to sellers

Wildberries clarified that the refund will apply to fines issued between January 1 and August 20, 2024.
Wildberries also limited the amount of fines for sellers depending on turnover over the last 30 days and introduced a 50% discount on reverse logistics for goods that have not been ordered for more than six months from the marketplace warehouse.
“These measures are aimed at easing the burden on our partners at the beginning of the active sales period,” noted Wildberries.
Items for return will be displayed in the seller’s personal account; to receive a discount, the return will need to be issued before October 31, the marketplace’s press service explained.
In July, Wildberries canceled fines for lack of mandatory labeling and introduced restrictions on fines for unfulfilled orders. Shortly before this, the marketplace abolished fines for queuing at order pick-up points and sharply reduced fines for sellers for violating intellectual property rights.
