Citizens manager Pep Guardiola and the club’s management are actively looking for new signings, with British media reporting that they have set their sights on the rising star of the German Bundesliga.
Omar Marmoush, a 25-year-old striker from Egypt, plays for Eintracht Frankfurt and has excelled this season. In 15 Bundesliga games, he scored 13 goals and recorded 8 assists, which immediately caught the attention of the English club.
City management are reportedly ready to start negotiations with Frankfurt in the coming days and will try to secure a January transfer for the talented footballer.
According to the Telegraph, Citizens have already prepared an offer of 60 million euros for Marmus, which is the market value of this player according to the website Transfermarkt. If the negotiations are successful, Frankfurt would improve significantly.
Marmoush, who played in various positions in attack and on the wing during his career, started his football career in Wadi Degla, Egypt.
At the age of 18, he moved to Wolfsburg and then continued his career at St. Pauli and Stuttgart. He came to Frankfurt as a free agent, where he became one of the best players in the top division in one and a half seasons.
