Will Media Markt and Saturn soon sell electric cars?

Will MediaMarktSaturn also sell electric cars in Germany in the future? Company boss Wildberger can certainly imagine that, as he reveals in an interview.

MediaMarktSaturn boss Karsten Wildberger can imagine selling electric cars in the electronics retailer’s German branches. Wildberger told the news portal t-online with a view to the experiences of European subsidiaries: “The Spanish and Italians are very successful in selling electromobility, including electric cars, in their markets. In Belgium we operate a market that only offers electric mobility.”

Wildberger continued that no German company in the car country of Germany had approached the dealer about this. “I can say: we still have room for electric cars here. “It’s a long way off, but fundamentally interesting projects could emerge,” the manager told the news portal. Media Markt and Saturn have around 1,000 branches in Europe, 400 of which are in Germany. MediaMarktSaturn belongs to the Ceconomy trading group (Düsseldorf).
