From 2013 to 2018, Nvidia’s Titan graphics were among the most powerful end-user cards. Nvidia may come up with a successor after six years.
The Titan graphics series was originally intended more for gamers. But over time, graphics have become more focused on content creators, especially thanks to the large portion of VRAM at the time. The price/performance ratio has become less interesting over time. The first Titan from 2013 offered the Kepler architecture, the last Titan RTX model was created in the era of Turing graphics. Ada Lovelace was also supposed to receive a Titan model, but Nvidia abandoned this scenario.
Recognized leaker kopite7kimi on the social network X (formerly Twitter) came up with information that the new Titan should be created again. At a time when many creators use artificial intelligence and a number of demanding programs that use not only high computing power, but also a portion of memory, this model would make sense.
The YouTube channel RedGamingTech confirms this information and adds that the card could be called Titan AI, and Nvidia would at least focus it on working with artificial intelligence. In this way, Titan could once again find a target group of users who today use entry-level enterprise models or nineties series for working with AI.
However, it must be remembered that this is still only speculation. In the case of Ada Lovelace, the Titan was also allegedly created, and the graphics in the reference version were even photographed. But it never went on sale. Of course, the question is also the price, which is expected to be high for this model.
