Meteorologists have issued a Code Orange nowcasting warning, valid until 14:00 on Saturday.
The mountain areas above 1800 meters in Caraș Severin and Hunedoara are targeted, where there will be wind with a gust speed of 85-120 km/h, which blizzards and trojans the already deposited snow and which causes a visibility below 50 m.
ISU Caraș Severin specifies that, for the protection of the population, a warning message was sent through the RO-Alert system.
Later, ANM issued a similar warning for mountain areas above 1800 meters in Gorj and Vâlcea counties.
