Windows 11 is getting a wonderful new feature! Make file sharing easier

• Microsoft introduced better file sharing in the latest Windows 11 Insider release
• The new approach saves users one click and one unnecessary dialogue
• It will take some time before the novelty reaches the production version

Microsoft takes care of Windows 11 and regularly brings some improvements. In the latest version released in the Insider program, it appeared improved file sharing. This is a small change at first glance, but it saves clicking and thus time.

If you want to share a file in the current version of Windows 11 24H2, it is not difficult. You right-click on it and select Share. A dialog will appear where you choose the sharing method and you’re done. But Microsoft decided to make this process even simpler.

When you right-click on a file in Windows 11 Insider and navigate to the Share menu, another sub-menu will expand with a list of possible sharing methods. There is no need to open a new window and this saves time. I find the new system more convenient.

You can try the news if you are a member program Insider. You can find it in Windows 11 Insider Preview build 22635.4367 in the Beta channel. But the function is being made available gradually.
