The new Xiaomi 14T (Pro) models hit the Czech market a few weeks ago. These are high-end smartphones with great equipment and quality cameras. But the big attraction is artificial intelligence, which you will also enjoy with us. In addition, it supports the Czech language, which you will especially appreciate with the function called AI Translator. How will this great tool help you while traveling?

The new Xiaomi 14T model series has several useful artificial intelligence functions that make everyday life easier, but will also help with more demanding tasks. One of the most clever options has a completely clear task, but it may not be easy to fulfill. It is a translation that Xiaomi has taken to a new level.

In Xiaomi 14T (Pro), this function is called AI Interpreter. You start it by pulling down the top bar and clicking on the icon that shows a notepad with the letter A. It’s a bit awkward that AI Interpreter doesn’t have its own app.

Upon launch, you will be greeted with a simple and almost blank screen with a few controls. You can quickly switch languages, including Czech. There is also microphone control and screen layout. The text can be displayed full-screen or split in half, with a different language in each section.

A great companion for traveling abroad

Until now, the AI ​​Interpreter could seem quite ordinary. However, its functionality is absolutely great. When you start the microphone, you start speaking, after which the spoken word is automatically transcribed into text. After the agreement, the phone will translate the language into your chosen one in a second and read out loud what you said. Of course, it will be rewritten in the given language into the text.

You can select languages ​​in advance or rely on automatic recognition. When splitting the screen, just put the phone on the table – you and your counterpart can have a completely natural conversation. If you’re not sure about something, just glance at the display to easily read the sentence and make sure you understand every word.

It’s a completely revolutionary way of communicating in a language you don’t speak. From my personal experience, I used the feature for about a week in Munich, Germany, where I could easily communicate with people without them struggling with English. They simply conversed in their language and the Xiaomi 14T (Pro) took care of the rest. Of course, the translation is not perfect and many times it is a so-called “broken” speech, but it is absolutely sufficient for understanding.

All phones should be able to do this

Thanks to this option, the new Xiaomi 14T (Pro) becomes a really great companion for every traveler. It is not just that he can translate in languages ​​such as English, German, Spanish or French. The translation also works in Czech or Slovak. Among exotic languages, I could include support for Korean, Chinese, Burmese or Arabic.

In all these languages, of which there are 28, the translation works reliably and lightning fast. Moreover, I believe that over time Xiaomi will supply more languages. Thanks to this, the Xiaomi 14T (Pro) is a great partner for traveling abroad, and you practically don’t have to worry about traveling the whole world. Just be aware that you must be connected to Wi-Fi or have a data connection for the translation to work.
