The firefighters of the Petroșani Detachment intervened urgently, mobilizing an extrication vehicle and two crews of the County Ambulance Service.
A 25-year-old woman, who remained incarcerated following the impact, was freed by rescuers and transported to the Petroșani Emergency Unit with multiple traumas. A 9-year-old child was also treated and taken to the same facility for further investigation.
The other four people in the car were not seriously injured and are out of danger.
Firefighters ensured fire prevention measures on the spot, and traffic in both directions is running normally. The investigation to establish the causes of the accident is ongoing.
