Buschapa was wiped out while crossing the highway in the new market area of Sreepur in Gazipur. A female laborer named Bilkish Akhtar was killed. The accident took place in front of the Cotton Research Institute on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 8 am on Sunday.

Ayub Ali, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mauna Highway Police Station, said that a bus of Amani Paribahan from Sherpur was crossing the highway while crossing the highway in front of the Cotton Research Institute on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 8 am. The woman died on the spot. The body has been recovered. Further legal action in this regard is pending.
