The society Šēderes nākotne, using the financial support of the Augšdaugava region self-government, purchased two sets of wooden furniture – a table and two benches, as well as ten separate benches for organizing events in Sheder parish. The regional self-government informs about this.
Furniture sets and benches will be useful for children’s creative workshops, Home Cafe Days, celebrations of Ligo, Easter, sports events and just relaxing on the shore of a picturesque lake. The table and benches were made by an artisan from Shedera parish Peteris Slavinskis.
The furniture sets were placed in places shaded by linden trees on the shore of the lake, and benches were installed in the green courtyard behind the Shederi House of Culture, where residents and guests of the volost gather.
The funding for the Augšdaugava region self-government amounted to 2,000 euros.
