Worms in candy: New Year’s gift sets with larvae are being sold in St. Petersburg

Parasites have been found in almost every dessert.

A resident of St. Petersburg discovered worms and larvae in a gift set with sweets. This is reported by 78.ru.

The media also publishes a video.

“Worms and larvae were found in the sweets. I decided to double check the entire bag. It turned out that these parasites are absolutely in every candy,” the woman added.

The woman clarified that she purchased a sweet gift a few days ago. She doesn’t remember which store. “In my opinion, it was Magnit. The gift, naturally, was not opened until yesterday,” the St. Petersburg woman noted. According to her, she also bought a bag of sweets at the Pyaterochka store.

Another city resident bought candy from the same manufacturer by weight, and also found worms in them.

An inspection is underway.
