One ugly joke directed at women says that the poll for the best car in Woman and Life magazine was won by the red one. But I know enough people for whom color is more important than function. Perhaps sensing a gap in the market, Sony has announced a new version of its top-of-the-range headphones, which will now be available in pink.

Specifically, the new design concerns the WH-1000XM5 and WF-1000XM5 headphones, and the color is not exactly pink, but violet-pink, or smoky pink. The 1000XM5 series headphones do not need a long introduction. This is the fifth generation of high-end headphones with perfect suppression of ambient noise and also excellent sound quality, of course in its price class. Until now, they were sold in white, black and blue.

SONY WF-1000XM5

These are plug-type headphones, which increases their ability to eliminate ambient noise. It offers IPX4 water resistance, so you can wear them in the rain without any worries. Thanks to the LDAC codec, the sound is at a high quality level, you can listen to them for up to 8 hours on a single charge. You get up to 16 more hours after charging from the case. Thanks to fast charging, you get an hour of listening time in just three minutes on the charger.

The normal price of headphones is just under 7,000 CZK, and they can be purchased a little cheaper in various events or from gray imports.

WH-1000XM5

This is the headphone version of the headphones with 30mm drivers that can perform minor miracles. 8 microphones help to suppress ambient noise almost perfectly, and you can listen to the headphones for up to 30 hours on a single charge. Since they have no charging case, this is the final value. Unlike the previous generation, they are not collapsible, so they are less roadworthy. From my point of view, this is a great shame, because otherwise these are very comfortable headphones that I have no problem wearing for several hours.

The regular price is under 9000 CZK, in events they can be found up to 1000 CZK cheaper. For gray imports, the price is even only around 7300 CZK.
