It combines sufficiently high performance, advanced artificial intelligence functions integrated into the system and an attractive design. Design and construction
The Xiaomi 14T Pro arrived in our editorial office in the color Titan Gray and caught the eye at first glance. The elegant back with a matte design was tempting to tap with your nails. The construction meets IP68 dust and water resistance certification.
Thin bezels around the display, metal frame and silver back give the impression of a premium device. The phone is 8 mm thick and weighs 209 grams, which is the standard these days. For some, the higher weight may suit, due to a more secure hold in the hand. However, one-handed operation will not be easy, especially for shorter fingers. Xiaomi 14T Pro is also available in other color variants, including classic black (Titan Black) and blue (Titan Blue).
The layout of the controls on the sides is classic, on the right we find the volume keys and the power switch. It is pleasantly indented, so you can feel it with confidence even in the dark. The opposite wall is empty. If you don’t have a tripod, you can rest your phone on a solid surface for longer shots and it won’t wobble.
The bottom wall hides the USB-C connector, the SIM card slot and the speaker. The second one, which will also serve for stereo sound reproduction, can be found behind a thin grid just on the top of the display. The quality is decent, it is quite enough for watching movies. In addition to two nanoSIM cards, you can also activate an eSIM. The body of the structure does not lack an infrared port, which you can use to control home appliances, such as air conditioning or a TV.
Availability and price
The price of the Xiaomi 14T Pro starts at 799 euros (256 GB). However, this capacity is not sold in Slovakia. You can buy the 512 GB version from us for 899 euros or 1 TB, for which you will pay exactly one thousand without a single euro.

Xiaomi 14T Pro review: Display
The display of the Xiaomi 14T Pro is one of the pluses of the phone. The 6.67-inch AMOLED panel has a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. In the settings you can choose 60 Hz, 144 Hz or you can leave it to the system. It will choose the appropriate speed according to the currently displayed content.
The colors are vivid and saturated, the contrast is very good, the image is smooth. Even when scrolling quickly or playing games, there is no significant delay. In addition, the display is bright enough even in direct sunlight, thanks to the maximum brightness of up to 2,600 nits, you can see everything you need. Whether you’re watching videos, viewing photos or just surfing the Internet, the Xiaomi 14T Pro display will definitely not disappoint you.
Xiaomi 14T Pro: Performance
The heart of the Xiaomi 14T Pro is the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, which in combination with 12 GB of RAM can handle even more demanding tasks without major problems. The phone is available in three versions of storage: with 256 GB, 512 GB or even 1 TB capacity (we tested it), which is enough even for the most demanding users. Before buying, think about which variant you prefer, you won’t be able to expand your memory later. The 14T Pro does not support a microSD card slot.
Xiaomi 14T Pro review: Cameras
The T series from Xiaomi chooses the best of the flagship models when it comes to cameras, and this year’s lineup is no different. The manufacturer once again cooperated with the well-known company Leica in the development of cameras, and this is already the fourth generation of cooperation. The Xiaomi 14T Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera, which consists of a main 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an excellent aperture of f/1.6, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120° angle of view and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom.
The main camera with a large 1/1.28″ sensor and an aperture of f/1.4 captures high-quality photos with lots of detail, true colors and a good dynamic range, especially in good light. Optical image stabilization helps eliminate blur caused by motion or shaking hands. You will appreciate the ultra-wide-angle camera when shooting landscapes, buildings and group shots. Its quality is also very good, wide-angle cameras are usually among the weaker links of the photo set.
Nice night pictures, sometimes with errors
The telephoto lens supports zooming in without significant loss of quality and you will appreciate it when shooting portraits. The 32 MP selfie camera allows you to take self-portraits with a nice blurred background. The Xiaomi 14T can take very nice pictures even at night or in low light. Thanks to the main camera’s large sensor and improved software processing, it can capture more light and detail, resulting in brighter and sharper night photos.
However, shooting with the main camera with street lighting can be problematic. The light from the lamps creates a light beam in the photo, which you do not want there. Some competing models, such as the Honor Magic V2, had a similar problem, but it was a bit more pronounced with the 14T Pro. But when using the ultra-wide-angle lens, this shortcoming disappeared and the photos were free of unwanted rays. You can see test images in the gallery at the end of the article.
Fans of video recording will be in for a treat. Movie mode defaults to a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and supports Cinematic Blur and Rack Focus switching for a cinematic feel. Director mode offers a more professional cinematographic interface with advanced parameter control. The maximum for video recording is 4K at 30 frames per second.

Xiaomi 14T Pro Review: Software with MIUI 14
Xiaomi 14T Pro runs on Android 14 operating system with MIUI 14. The user interface brings several improvements over previous versions, including performance optimization, better battery management and new features based on artificial intelligence.
For example, AI Moment can automatically select and edit the best photos from your gallery, while AI Shutter helps capture the perfect shot even with fast-moving subjects. An excellent helper when traveling abroad is the AI Interpreter for fast translation of conversations in a foreign language in real time. It will certainly please you that it supports Slovak, so that even a less fluent traveler can communicate in other countries without any problems. We tested the feature and it works really well.
The Xiaomi 14T series comes with the Google Gemini application, which also has no problem with our language and will help you plan a trip, search for information and write a message in different styles.
Battery and charging
Xiaomi 14T Pro is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, which provides enough endurance for at least a full day of normal use. Sometimes even a day and a half, on the weekend I charged once every 48 hours. For more intensive use, such as playing games, taking longer photos, listening to music, navigating or watching videos, you will need to charge the phone already in the evening or in the morning.
Thanks to 120 W fast charging, it will be a moment. You get a full battery charge in about 19 minutes, which is really impressive. Less happy is the fact that the charger is not included in the package, so you will have to purchase it. Or you will use a slower one, which will prolong the charging time. The second disappointment can be the absence of wireless charging. Those who are used to this method, because they have it in their car, for example, may miss it.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is an excellent smartphone that offers a combination of performance, functions and an attractive design at an affordable price, which you can also reduce by up to 200 euros using the introductory promotion. Among the strengths are the display, powerful processor, smart cameras and super fast charging. The novelty is also suitable for more demanding users who are looking for a high-quality smartphone with flagship features for everyday use, multitasking, playing games, taking photos or watching videos. The advantage is the integration of advanced artificial intelligence, for which even Slovak is not a problem.
Although it is not perfect and has its flaws, such as the absence of wireless charging or the lack of support for memory cards, its strengths outweigh its weaknesses. If you are looking for a smartphone that offers a great price-performance ratio and at the same time you don’t want to compromise on functions and design, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is definitely worth your attention.
