Exactly one year later, the Chinese manufacturer brings a new series to the global market Xiaomi 14Twhich consists of a pair of models. Their design and a large part of the hardware, such as the display, operating memory capacity, camera resolution and battery size and cable charging speed, unite them. The construction of both smartphones meets the certification IP68so they can handle a dusty environment and submersion under the water surface to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Almost the same and yet different
The differences can be found in the chipset used, the sensor on the main lens, the Pro version will also be available with 1 TB of storage and it does not lack fast wireless charging. Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro are powerful devices focused on long battery life, fast charging and high-quality fcameras with Leica lenses. This is already the fourth generation of cooperation between Xiaomi and Leica. Night photography is one of the main advantages of cameras. The system also includes advanced artificial intelligence functions in the areas of search, voice, text, image and video, which can simplify everyday activities.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro takes the collaboration with Google to a new level and comes with a feature Circle to Search from Google. She will be available from October 6, 2024. It thus becomes one of the first Xiaomi devices to offer this innovative function. Until now, in addition to Pixels, for example, selected Samsung Galaxy devices also offered it. In addition, the Xiaomi 14T series comes with an app Google Gemini. For example, an AI interpreter will help overcome the language barrier (Slovak is missing), AI Notes and AI Recording will increase efficiency thanks to speech-to-text transcription and quick summaries. AI features will be available via OTA update from September 26, 2024.
Clear display with fine resolution
The Xiaomi 14T series delivers 6.67” AMOLED display with fine 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. It will please the maximum brightness of 4,000 nits. The next-generation AI display adjusts color temperature and brightness based on usage and time of day, ensuring optimal comfort for the eyes.
Technology will take care of the sound quality through the stereo speakers Dolby Atmos and certification Hi-Res Audio Wireless. Both novelties are powered by a powerful 4 nm chipset supplemented by 12GB RAM. In the case of 14T, the storage capacity will be available in 256 GB and 512 GB versions, the Pro model will also offer 1 TB.
Cameras with Leica lenses are the pride of smartphones
Although the resolution of the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro is the same, they differ in the sensor used and the brightness of the lens. The main camera of the 14T Pro is equipped with a large aperture with an aperture of ƒ/1.6 and the latest optical lens Leica Summiluxwhich works with the Light Fusion 900 image sensor. For details, see the parameter table. The main and telephoto lens received a resolution of 50 MP, wide-angle with a 120° angle of view 12-megapixel. The selfie camera has a 32 MP sensor.
