In May, another cheap wireless earphone from Xiaomi was introduced to the Chinese market, which is now finally arriving in the Czech Republic as well. Redmi Buds 6 Active you can already buy for 399 CZK, in four different color versions. They have very decent equipment for their price.
Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 Active rely on a design with chubby legthe length of which runs a black stripe, but they do not have silicone ear tips. For many, they can slightly evoke the classic Apple AirPods. The box resembles a square with a lid that is transparent for the pink and blue versions. The headphones are also available in black and white versions.
The new Redmi Buds 6 Active are equipped with 14.2 mm converter and promise a better response in low frequencies and a higher sound pressure level, which according to the manufacturer can provide richer and deeper bass effects. Also worth mentioning is the 6-hour battery life, which can be extended with a fully charged box up to 30 hours. The headphones offer an algorithm for filtering out ambient noise when on the phone so that the other party can hear you perfectly. However, don’t expect conveniences such as active noise cancellation (ANC) or transparent mode from them.
