The foldable flip mobile will be a new flagship model from Xiaomi.
It is not until July 19 that Xiaomi will present the new foldable phone Mix Flip, but already now they have offered some preliminary information. Based on that information, it will be a new flagship model, not least because it uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood.
However, there are a couple of other details that should make the Mix Flip stand out from the crowd, and one is a battery that holds a whopping 4780 mAh, which can be compared to, for example, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, which have a battery of 4000mAh.
Another detail is that the 4.01-inch outer screen, like the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, covers the entire side of the phone but with thinner edges than the Motorola model. It should have a 1.5K resolution with a brightness of up to 1600 nits.
No specifications are mentioned for the cameras, only that they use optics from Leica.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip will launch in China on July 19, but it’s unclear if or when it might hit the international market.
