Xiaomi has reached an important milestone in its fledgling electric car division.

The company’s first goal was to reach 100,000 cumulative deliveries of the SU7 series by the end of this year, but it later changed its plan and said it would happen this month. The new goal is for Xiaomi to meet the end of the year with 120,000 vehicles delivered.
This confidence is justified as the SU7 is selling brilliantly. Precise monthly figures have not been released, but the number of cars delivered rose from 10,000 for the July-September period to more than 20,000 in October.
The SU7 is manufactured at Xiaomi’s facility in Beijing. In the first phase, the factory can produce 150,000 cars per year, and its second phase is under construction. The plant reached an impressive 160 percent of production capacity in October. In order to reduce the pressure of orders, Xiaomi increases the monthly production to 24,000 cars and reaches almost 200 percent of the production capacity.
With its ambitious production plans and growing range of electric cars, Xiaomi is becoming a competitor to already well-known manufacturers and is continuously contributing to the accelerated adoption of electric vehicles around the world.
