The discounter Aldi’s online shop is currently running a discount on the Xiaomi Redmi 12. The smartphone is being offered including the Aldi Talk starter set for 109 euros. In the following overview, we’ll show you whether you should take advantage of the deal.

Xiaomi Redmi 12: Features

The Redmi 12 is a 6.79-inch smartphone with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels. The manufacturer specifies variable refresh rates of up to 90 Hertz. The Mediatek Helio G88 processor is used as an eight-core processor, which is equipped with a clock speed of up to two gigahertz.

In terms of storage, the Aldi offer is only available in the 128 GB version and can be expanded by up to one terabyte using a microSD card if required. The RAM is four GB. The camera system of the Redmi 12 consists of three lenses. The main lens has a resolution of 50 megapixels. This is flanked by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a two megapixel macro sensor. In terms of connections, the Redmi 12 does not use the current 5G mobile network, but at least offers Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 5. The manufacturer states that the battery capacity is around 5,000 mAh, and fast charging is possible with up to 18 watts.
