Xiaomi Redmi 14C: The Aldi offer in the price check

A new offer for the Xiaomi Redmi 14C will be available from discounter Aldi starting next week. We show in our overview whether the deal is worth it.

The discounter Aldi regularly has a new offer for smartphones that is valid for a limited time and aims to impress with a good price or bundle. From October 30, 2024, the Xiaomi Redmi 14C will be available at Aldi Süd in such a discount campaign – we will show whether the deal is really worth it in our price comparison.

Xiaomi Redmi 14C: Technical data at a glance

The Redmi 14C is a current Xiaomi smartphone with a display diagonal of 6.88 inches, which works with a resolution of 1,640 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. Inside is the Mediatek Helio G81 Ultra processor that clocks at a maximum of two gigahertz. When it comes to memory, the Redmi 14C has eight GB of RAM and an internal capacity of 256 GB.

Xiaomi uses two lenses in the camera system of the Redmi 14C. The main lens has a resolution of 50 megapixels (f/1.8) and is flanked by a depth sensor with two megapixels. A 13 MP selfie camera is embedded in the front. In terms of connections, the Redmi 14C supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4, but you have to do without 5G. The battery capacity is 5,160 mAh and the manufacturer says it should last up to a day and a half.

From October 30th, Aldi Süd will be selling the Xiaomi Redmi 14C for an offer price of 149 euros. In addition, customers receive the Redmi Buds 6 Play in-ear headphones and the Aldi Talk starter set with a starting credit of 10 euros.

But even without the freebies, the Aldi offer is convincing: the cheapest comparison price for the 256 GB model is around 162 euros. If you’re looking for a cheap Android smartphone with lots of memory, you can confidently grab the Aldi deal.
